‘Loki’ Producer Confirms The Tom Hiddleston Series Has A ‘Time Travel Component’

Loki executive producer Stephen Broussard confirmed time travel will play a part in the Tom Hiddleston series.

Marvel Studios’ Phase 4 line-up includes a handful of original shows for Disney Plus, one of which will center on Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. After the events of Avengers: Endgame, most assumed the series would follow the version of Loki from an alternate timeline where Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief was able to escape custody by stealing the tesseract while our heroes were in the midst of a time heist.

While those assumptions proved to be correct, the creative team behind the Loki series remained quiet when it came to the rumors claiming time travel played a part in the Tom Hiddleston series. However, Loki executive producer Stephen Broussard confirmed time travel was one of the components to the Tom Hiddleston series during a special sneak peek at the upcoming Marvel shows in Disney Plus’ Expanding the Universe special:

“There’s a huge time travel component. There will be a man on the run quality to it and we get the chance to explore more human sides of Loki.”
