'Loki' has beaten out all of its peers!
Since the debut of The Mandalorian, Disney Plus has proven itself to be a force to be reckoned with in the streaming industry, with subscription numbers beating out all expectations. Earlier this year, both WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier both became big hits for the platform with the latter becoming the first Disney Plus series to top Nielsen’s streaming charts. But now it appears that Loki may be beating out both of these series.
According to a new report, the debut of Loki on Disney Plus has beaten out both WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. WandaVision debuted with over 655,000 viewers and Falcon and The Winter Solder came in with over 759,000. Now Loki has beaten that out with a reported 890,000 views. The report sites SambaTV as the source of this information which measures streaming viewership on 3M smart terrestrial TV households for at least five minutes. It is noted however that this did not include mobile views.
