Luke Cage And Jessica Jones Discuss Netflix Downtime

Two days ago, Marvel’s Luke Cage finally dropped on Netflix in it’s entirety, though plenty of fans had to stop watching the show as the streaming platform crashed.

In their typically-awesome fashion, both Luke Cage and Jessica Jones became active on Twitter to address the downtime. Marvel’s social media team stay in character when using these accounts, and it leads to some pretty great tweets. As you’d expect, Jessica was quick to dismiss that she had any involvement.

The Luke Cage account weighed in on the error a few times, sharing GIFs of Cottonmouth acting rather violent, referencing the guys over at Netflix trying to fix their servers. Cleverly, they then shared the link to their soundtrack to capitalize while the show was off air. Finally, showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker asked fans if it was their fault. We think this could be a huge factor in the crash, and rightfully so.

When a sabotaged experiment gives him super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive attempting to rebuild his life in Harlem and must soon confront his past and fight a battle for the heart of his city.

Luke Cage is available to stream on Netflix right this second. We highly recommend you do so!
