Lynda Carter’s Review of ‘Wonder Woman’ Is Full Of Praise

After the Los Angeles premiere of DC's Wonder Woman, the original Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter reviewed the film on Twitter, praising it highly.

Both fans and critics are absolutely in love with DC’s Wonder Woman, and TV’s original Wonder Woman has revealed her thoughts on the film in a tweet.

Lynda Carter was at the premiere of the film in Los Angeles and had a chance to mingle with the cast and crew and bask in the glory of the first female-led superhero film of the modern age. After the film had been shown, all the red-carpet pictures had been taken, and the dust had settled, Carter dropped her thoughts on the film.

Her tweet says the following:

“What a wonder movie!! Gal Gadot is fabulous as Wonder Woman. I had so much fun at the premiere.”

Carter is best known for her role as Diana Prince in the 70’s Wonder Woman show that ran from 1975 to 1979. Her other feats include being an accomplished model, singer, and songwriter.

While the review embargo for DC’s latest hasn’t lifted yet, the consensus has been positive on both sides of the spectrum. Be sure to check back closer to the film’s release to check out our review.

“Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.”

Wonder Woman hits theaters on June 2, 2017.
