Here’s How Important Mantis Was In The ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Finale

A fan on Reddit has figured out just how important Mantis was in the final Avengers: Endgame battle.

Since Avengers: Endgame hit home-video a few months ago, we’ve been given exciting new looks at the movie thanks to eagle-eyed fans. The latest major revelation discovered by a fan is just how crucial Mantis was in the film’s final battle. In the finale of the highest-grossing film of all time, Mantis was somewhat maligned by fans because her powers weren’t considered to be on par with heroes such as Thor, Doctor Strange, or even fellow Guardian Groot. However, when you take a closer look at what she’s doing in the background of the Avengers: Endgame finale, you realize that Mantis is using her sleeping powers brilliantly.

Reddit user “clubpenguin2005” slowed down the Avengers: Endgame footage of Mantis sleeping enemies and zoomed in on her to give us a more clear image of her finesse in the finale. You can check the footage out below.

Clearly, Mantis is utilizing her powers to put enemies to sleep, which is a given. However, these aren’t just any enemies, as these are some of the larger, more menacing Chitauri that Thanos brought out to destroy the Avengers. We can only imagine how many dozed off Chitauri members were on the battlefield.
