But nothing more than that and literally a look. Not the cover of said script, like the Doom Patrol episode of Titans. The upcoming Arrowverse crossover between Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl- as the Legends of Tomorrow will be sitting this one out- will also serve as the introductory point for Ruby Rose’s Batwoman into the world.
Which universe that is remains to be seen, but that’s another discussion. Legends of Tomorrow creator Marc Guggenheim took to Twitter yesterday afternoon to reveal the first look at the script for said crossover. From the side. Very much a tease, but if you’ll notice in the background, you can also see a figure for Green Arrow in the classic DC Comics design, as well as posters for Legends of Tomorrow and the Crisis On Earth-X crossover from last November.
Here, have a look at Marc Guggenheim’s DCCW tease in the tweet below, which reads as follows: “Your first look at this year’s Arrowverse crossover… @GBerlanti @carolinedries @chipeyt.”
Tagged in the tweet are Caroline Dries, who wrote for Smallville, Arrowverse mastermind Greg Berlanti, and Todd Helbing, who serves as an Executive Producer on The Flash.
Details are being kept under wraps for the crossover at the moment, though recent casting news could hopefully give an indication of where this year’s crossover with the DCCW shows is headed. That and perhaps an in-show explanation for why the Legends may not be involved. Time will tell.
