Harley Quinn Appears To Move Out Of Joker’s Home In ‘Birds of Prey’ Set Photos

The latest batch of Birds of Prey set pictures show Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn with a new character and a potential break-up with the Joker.

After Harley Quinn’s breakout appearance in Suicide Squad, Margot Robbie returns to the role for2019’s Birds of Prey. The film’s principal photography is currently taking place in Los Angeles and set photos from location shooting continue to surface. The latest shows Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn being kick out of somewhere, as she carries her belongings. Harley Quinn also doesn’t seem to be with the Joker in Birds of Prey, so these pictures could be after their break up. There hasn’t been any evidence that Jared Leto’s Joker will appear in the film, but it seems he will definitely have a presence. You can check out the first batch below:

All the set photos from the film so far show another different style for DC Films. Cathy Yan reportedly won the directing job for her pitch and her vision seems to be evident in everything seen from the film so far. The other pictures show Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn consoling with Dana Lee’s character named, ‘Doc’:

Directed by Cathy Yan from a script penned by Bumblebee writer Christina Hodson, Birds of Prey stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz, Ewan McGregor as Black Mask, and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Ali Wong, Robert Catrini, and Michael Masini have also been cast in undisclosed roles.

The DCEU continues forward with Aquaman which is now playing and will be followed by Shazam! on April 5, 2019, Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), on February 7, 2020, and Wonder Woman 1984 on June 5, 2020. A standalone Joker film set outside of the DC Films universe starring Joaquin Phoenix as the Clown Prince of Crime is also set to hit theaters October 4, 2019.
