'Suicide Squad' star Margot Robbie comments on when she might return to play fan-favorite villain Harley Quinn in another DC film.
After expressing her love for the character, Margot Robbie offered on update on when Harley Quinn might return to the big screen:
“I think we’re very close, actually. Everyone has been working really hard, myself included, to get Harley back on screen. I think it will be quite soon. There’s so much more to explore with her. I can’t wait! I hope next year, but with bigger films, it takes a lot longer to get it all up and running.”
When asked if she has had any conversations with Suicide Squad 2 director Gavin O’Connor about his vision for the film, Margot Robbie replied:
“I haven’t yet. I should! There’s so much that I need to do right now.”
Margot Robbie is currently expected to reprise her role as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad 2, Gotham City Sirens, and an untitled spin-off opposite Jared Leto as The Joker written and directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa. Release dates for these projects have not yet been scheduled.
