Mark Hamill Has Perfect Response To ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ Ian McDiarmid Tease

Mark Hamill is known for a lot of things but, perhaps, his most iconic roles have been as Luke Skywalker is the Stars Wars franchise and The Joker in multiple Batman games and television shows. When the new Rise of Skywalker trailer dropped, people noticed an all too familiar laugh at the end which many knew to be Ian McDiarmid’s reprisal of his original character, Emperor Palpatine. Now, Mark Hamill has decided to poke fun at how close it is to his Joker laugh in his latest tweet.

Using the hashtag #JediJoker, Mark Hamill, in his traditional humorous manner, chose to poke fun at some of the messages he had been receiving on social media asking if this was his laugh and the official rise of The Joker in the Star Wars universe.  Although this is a clear joke from the actor that plays Luke Skywalker, many wonder if there will also be more surprise appearances in the film. After all, the trailer did hint at the fact that none of the characters lost in the series ever truly leave.

“No one’s ever really gone.”

With this in mind, it’s no wonder why many fans are looking forward to seeing these two actors that started it all in the latest film which continues to add to this incredible franchise. What do you think about Mark Hamill’s hilarious Tweet? Are you excited to see Ian McDiarmid as Emperor Palpatine in the newest film? Let us know in the comments below!
