Netflix, of course, bought out Mark Millar’s comic book company Millarworld back in 2017 so the practice probably shouldn’t come as that much of a surprise. The book is a sequel to Mark Millar’s Chrononauts that was created by Millar and original artist Sean Gordon Murphy. The premise for the series is that a pair of brilliant scientists step into the past but apparently unravel the space-time continuum as a result and have to figure out a way to undo the mess they created.
The upcoming Chrononauts sequel from Mark Millar and Netflix will be written by Millar himself with artwork by Eric Canete. Chrononauts: Futureshock will be four issues long and is set to be published by Image Comics. The entire series is set to be released on October 30th of this year!
Mark Millar is, of course, known for a variety of works in the comic book industry. His most notable works include Superman: Red Son, Kick-Ass, Kingsmen: The Secret Service, and Civil War. And from the look of things, Netflix seems determined to bring that talent to there way of marketing a product.
