Mark Ruffalo Wishes America A Happy Birthday With Captain America Tweet

Mark Ruffalo wishes America a Happy Birthday with Captain America tweet. Ruffalo's Hulk can next be seen in Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War.

It’s the Fourth of July, which here in America means that we’re celebrating our Independence Day. Like most years, celebrities all over Twitter are wishing their followers a Happy Fourth of July, but actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe always seem to do it better by incorporating Marvel’s own real American hero in their tweets (and no, I’m not talking about General “Thunderbolt” Ross).

Mark Ruffalo, who plays Dr. Bruce Banner aka The Incredible Hulk, in the MCU films, sent out a tweet today wishing America a Happy Birthday. Included in his tweet is an image of Chris Evans’ Captain America, which seems to be taken from Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Here is Ruffalo’s tweet:

Mark Ruffalo’s Avengers co-star Chris Evans also sent out a Fourth of July tweet, which you can read below:

Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/Hulk can next be seen in Thor: Ragnarok this November, and after that he is set to join Cap and the rest of the Avengers in Avengers: Infinity War next summer.

Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, Karl Urban as Skurge, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Taika Waititi as Korg, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange and Sam Neill in an undisclosed role. Here is the official synopsis:

Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor’s quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela (Cate Blanchett) from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.

Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok opens in theaters on November 3, 2017. Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters May 4, 2018.
