The film in question is currently unnamed but but will revolved around the true story of lawyer Robert Bilott, who took on a case that exposed a decades-long history of chemical pollution. Such projects are nothing new to Ruffalo. In between Avenger projects, the fifty year old actor has starred in a number of critical acclaimed films that earned him high praise and Oscar nominations. In 2014 he costarred in the wrestling drama, Foxcatcher where he received an Academy Award Nomination for Best Supporting Actor. The next year he received the same nomination for his role in the 2015 Best Picture Winner, Spotlight. And from the look of things, Mark Ruffalo’s time in the Oscar spotlight is far from over.
