The fifth season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. revealed Phil Coulson’s temporary time as Ghost Rider burned through the Kree DNA that healed the fatal wounds he sustained in Avengers and concluded with him leaving the team to spend the remainder of life in Tahiti. Now, the official trailer for the sixth season offers fans a preview of how Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie is handling his new role as the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the challenges the team will face as they try to move forward without Coulson, who may not be gone for long.
