Both 'Black Panther' and 'Avengers: Infinity War' are entering into production, as this tweet by Marvel Executive Producer Louis D'Esposito shows.
For now, however, we have a couple of solo epics to look forward to as well as the team-up: Spiderman: Homecoming, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Thor: Ragnarok, and the highly anticipated Black Panther, which will be released next year.
Marvel Co-President and Executive Producer Louis D’Esposito tweeted about the projects that are apparently filming simultaneously at the moment, still in the early days of production.
The caption reads: “Mornings with #BlackPanther afternoons #AvengersInfinityWar”, which would imply all hands are on deck at Marvel Studios. Both movies are perhaps the most eagerly awaited of the Marvel creations to come, and this is certainly a way to get fans’ attention.
Black Panther is being directed by Ryan Coogler, and stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett and Danai Gurira. It is set to be released February 16th 2018.
Avengers: Infinity War is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, and stars an ensemble cast including Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner. It is scheduled to be released on May 4th 2018.
