DC and Rocksteady has dominated the superhero video game landscape for years with their critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham trilogy. Last year, Insomniac released Marvel’s Spider-Man, which was also a critical hit.
All the way back in January of 2011, it was announced that Square Enix and Marvel signed multi-year, multi-game partnership. A teaser was also released during that announcement for Square Enix’s Avengers Project, which featured the team disassembled. With no news on the game since 2011, Square Enix finally revealed the name of the project as Marvel’s Avengers last week. During their press conference at E3, Square Enix released a proper look at Marvel’s Avengers, which you can check out below!
What are your thoughts on the E3 worldwide reveal? Do you think this takes place in the same universe as Marvel’s Spider-Man? Will you be picking it up? Sound off in the comments below!
