UPDATED: Brie Larson Reportedly Locked In For Seven Picture Deal With Marvel

UPDATE:

Brie Larson, who is set to make her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in next year’s Captain Marvel, has reportedly signed a seven-picture contract with Marvel Studios.

It’s no news that Larson’s Carol Danvers, a.k.a. Captain Marvel, will be appearing in next year’s Avengers 4. Fans who waited until the end of the Avengers: Infinity War’s closing credits know that the film teased her character’s return to Earth to help save the day after the devastating aftermath of Thanos’ snap. Larson is set to appear in her own solo movie months prior to the release of Avengers 4 and according to a new report, fans can expect to see much more of Carol Danvers in the future.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Larson has signed on for seven pictures. The deal reportedly doesn’t just confine the star to sequels to her solo movie but instead extends to multiple franchises within the MCU. The report also claims that the Oscar-winning actress will be earning a solid $5 million payday from Captain Marvel alone. The character is set to appear in two of the three Marvel Studios films releasing next year, so hopefully, fans will fall as in love with her as they have recent with MCU newcomers like Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Spider-Man (Tom Holland).

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Captain Marvel and Avengers 4 as more information becomes available.
