The CEO of Marvel Entertainment, and the reported roadblock for Kevin Feige, Ike Perlmutter, has been photographed in public
Perlmutter was spotted meeting with Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate this past Wednesday and was spotted by Jonathan Ernst of Reuters news agency. The image finally reveals what Perlmutter actually looks like to the public, showing him and Trump lookout out the window while wearing sunglasses.
CEO Ike Perlmutter, at age 74, has been photographed extremely few times over the years with both Getty Images and Associated Press fielding zero photo results. The Hollywood Reporter had previously commissioned a drawing of what Perlmutter could look like in present day due to the lack of available pictures.
The Marvel CEO sold the company to Disney for $4 billion back in 2009, and is estimated to have a net worth of $3.9 billion according to Forbes. In Forbes estimate, their included image was one of the only images available prior to now.
Perlmutter is no longer in charge of Marvel Studios film division, but still has final say over Marvel’s television efforts. He was reportedly the one pushing the Inhumans film, but when Feige took over the film was removed from the slate. The Inhumans are now being developed for an ABC show which will premier in IMAX several weeks prior.
