Here’s When Marvel’s ‘Cloak & Dagger’ Will Return For Season 2

You’ve got Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, and Spider-Man: Far From Home hitting theaters. The Punisher Season 2 just dropped, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be returning later this year. But let us not forget the other programs that take place within the Marvel Cinematic Universe  — namely Freeform’s Cloak & Dagger series.

After the success of the first season, it was inevitable that the Marvel series would be renewed for a sophomore run on Freeform. Now, based on a report from Deadline, it’s known that Cloak & Dagger will return for a two hour premiere on April 4 at 8 P.M. Helping ring in the upcoming new season of the Marvel series is a new poster, which you can see below:

It will be interesting to see not just where Cloak & Dagger heads next, but the future of shows like this and The Runaways. While they probably won’t end up with the same fate as the Marvel Netflix series, the question still remains of how long the shows will run. While they no doubt have their audiences, you probably won’t find as many people talking about Cloak & Dagger as you would Daredevil or Luke Cage.

Still, though, the Marvel program has a date for its second season, so look forward to more news about the returning program when it comes back in April.
