Sweet Christmas! Deadline is reporting that Marvel will be bringing their upcoming series Luke Cage to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, which will be taking place next month. According to the website, Mike Colter alongside showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker and co-star Alfre Woodward will also be among cast in attendance. This will mark the first time that Marvel has brought one of their Netflix properties to San Diego Comic-Con since Daredevil launched ion the platform last year.
The site adds that Marvel “intend to show preview footage of the Netflix series”. While this could just mean a teaser trailer for the series or possibly some clips, it’s worth noting that they screened the first episode of Jessica Jones during that series panel at New York Comic-Con last year. So, there’s a good chance you might want to line up early for this one. While the outlet didn’t reveal any further details, it’s very likely that it will take place in Ballroom 20 and could be combined with Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel. Will you be one of the people lining up to catch this panel? What do you hope to see? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
All episodes of Luke Cage will be available to stream on Netflix starting on September 30th.
