The new series from Wonder Woman writer Allan Heinberg has received a production commitment from the network. Marvel TV and ABC Studios will produce the new series with Heinberg serving as executive producer on the series with Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb.
Plot details currently remain under wraps. The series will be the fourth Marvel series to air on ABC following Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. — which will air its sixth season in the summer of 2019 –, Agent Carter and Inhumans which was canceled after its first season.
The news of the female-led superhero series comes on the heels of the reveal that Disney is developing new standalone series for its upcoming streaming service featuring heroes of its cinematic universe such as Tom Hiddleston’s Loki and Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch with Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige producing.

For now, fans can catch their favorite superheroes on Netflix which recently released the second season of Iron Fist or in Avengers: Infinity War which is currently available on both Digital HD and 4k UHD and Blu-ray.
