Marvel Studios will not be present at the virtual event in place of San Diego Comic-Con this year.
It was announced last month that San Diego Comic-Con would be going virtual after the convention was canceled due to the pandemic. Comic-Con at Home will now take place from July 22-26 and feature several online panels in a free event. However, some studios are skipping out on Comic-Con at Home such as DC, who will be hosting their own virtual panel at the end of August.
According to Deadline, we now know that Marvel Studios will not have a presence at Comic-Con at Home either. Some speculated Marvel Studios might show-off more of Black Widow and possibly reveal The Eternals trailer along with the upcoming Disney Plus shows. However, given how much uncertainty there is at the moment, it makes sense that Marvel Studios is sitting out on the virtual event.
