This holiday season was a very exciting one for comic book fans. Once Upon A Deadpool, Bumblebee, Aquaman, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse presented audiences with four very different comic book movies to feast on this Christmas. Aquaman particularly has made huge numbers at the worldwide box office and is even on track to surpass the $1 billion mark very soon.
At the Golden Globes this evening, Vulture‘s Kyle Buchanan revealed via Twitter that he spoke to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and he has some exciting words for Aquaman. Marvel Studios is being represented at the awards ceremony this evening by multiple nominations for the hit film Black Panther. Check out Kevin Feige’s praise for Aquaman in the post below.
Aquaman is making huge waves at the box office right now but that won’t be the last time that fans will be visiting the DC Extended Universe this year. In April, Shazam! finally brings the iconic DC hero the big screen and in October, Joker will give DC’s most iconic villain his own live-action origin story.
