The Batman v Superman batsuit worn by Ben Affleck is widely considered the best to ever grace the big screen. The suit worn by Ben Affleck was the first live action to adopt the classic gray and black look, heavily influenced by Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns. Now that Ben Affleck will be replaced with a younger actor in Matt Reeves’ film, DC fans have speculated on what the next batsuit could look like.
Many are hoping Matt Reeves’ Batman film sticks to its comic book roots like the DCEU suit did, but only time will tell. Art from Tiago Ribeiro envisions a live action batsuit inspired by the recent DC Rebirth version with its signature batsymbol outlined in yellow. You can check out the fan art below!

Details for the upcoming film are currently under wraps, though the film will center around a younger caped crusader and includes multiple villains. Matt Reeves also confirmed that it will not be directly based on Frank Miller’s Year One comic, but will make full use of the dark knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous films.
Matt Reeves’ The Batman is one of the many projects currently being developed by Warner Bros. and DC Films, including The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, Black Adam, Cyborg, Supergirl, New Gods, and Nightwing.
