Metallo Possibly Spotted On ‘Supergirl’ Set

It appears that Superman won’t be coming alone in Supergirl Season 2 as set videos has now possibly revealed that a huge Superman villain will also be featured in one of the two episodes that Tyler Hoechlin is scheduled to appear in. In a set video from Vancouver, Canada, we see Hoechlin fighting a man with a green spot on his chest that looks incredibly similar to the villainous John Corben a.k.a. Metallo.

It has yet to be confirmed by Warner Bros. TV if it’s in fact Metallo as well as who the mystery actor is, but it definitely looks like it could be him so we will hopefully have some confirmation soon on what we are seeing. Since it has also been revealed that they will be showing Metropolis this season, it’s very likely that this fight is taking place in Superman’s city. In recent news, Calista Flockhart has signed a deal to return to the show for Season 2 as a recurring guest star, given the production moving from L.A. to Vancouver.

Supergirl Season 2 is set to premiere on Monday, October 10 at 8/7c on The CW – you can catch the whole first season as CW is airing two episodes back-to-back on Monday nights at 8/7c, leading up to the Season 2 premiere, titled “Adventures of Supergirl”. Would you like to see Metallo show up and fight Superman as well as Supergirl? Let us know in the comments below.
