Michael B. Jordan Joins The Cast Of Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Michael B. Jordan will be joining Creed co-stars Sylvester Stallone and Tessa Thompson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor will be re-teaming once again with director Ryan Coogler and has signed on to join the cast of Marvel Studios upcoming Black Panther film. Currently no details are known regarding his role but one source is stating that the actor could be playing a villain in the upcoming Marvel Studios release.

If this is true and I had to take a guess regarding what villainous role he could have signed on for, I’d lean towards him possibly playing Erik Killmonger. The character is the Black Panther’s earliest nemesis from the comics and described as “a powerful warrior and strategic genius in politics and economics, who will stop at nothing to have the Kingdom of Wakanda for his own.”

Jordan will be joining star Chadwick Boseman in the film which is currently is set to hit theaters on February 2, 2018. Lupita Nyong’o is currently in negotiation to join the cast as well with Andy Serkis & Martin Freeman also rumored to appear.
