New Details On Michael Biehn’s ‘The Mandalorian’ Role Reportedly Revealed

Following the news of Michael Biehn joining the cast of The Mandalorian season two, new details are now being reported on his role.

Thankfully, filming on The Mandalorian season two finished before the coronavirus outbreak started shutting down productions all around the world. Now, new casting additions to the Star Wars series are starting to surface. The biggest one was Rosario Dawson, who is set to play Ahsoka Tano. Another came from Making Star Wars earlier this week, who shared that Michael Biehn is in season two as well.

Making Star Wars is now reporting that Michael Biehn is playing a bounty hunter from Mando’s past who has a costume inspired by his Tombstone character Johhny Ringo. The report goes onto say that Michael Biehn’s character in The Mandalorian will say lines as a nod to his roles in The Terminator, Aliens, Tombstone, and Navy Seals. It also sounds like Dave Filoni directed the episode Michael Biehn will appear in.

How excited are you to see Michael Biehn join the Star Wars universe? What other ’80s action stars would you like to see in the series? Sound-off in the comments section below!

Here is the official synopsis for The Mandalorian:

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog, and Nick Nolte. The Star Wars series was written by Jon Favreau, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist is also on board as a co-executive producer.

The Mandalorian season two is set to premiere in October on Disney Plus.
