Although Green Lantern Corps is still a long time away, that hasn’t stopped fans from picking their ideal actors for the roles of John Stewart and Hal Jordan, who are both said to be in the movie. One name that always comes up for the role of John Stewart is Michael Jai White. Earlier this week, Michael Jai White took to his official Instagram account to thank fans for constantly thinking of him when it comes to John Stewart, before explaining how much he’d love to bring the iconic Green Lantern character to the big screen.
Michael Jai White posted the artwork by “breno10moreira” on Instagram, showing himself as John Stewart of the Green Lantern Corps standing with his wife Gillian White, who’s drawn as Vixen. The artwork reveals what Michael Jai White could look like in the Green Lantern Corps outfit that John Stewart is known for wearing in the comics and DC animated movies. In the caption, Michael Jai White mentions that he’d “gladly welcome the idea of joining the Green Lantern Corps if given the opportunity!” You can see Michael Jai White as John Stewart for the Green Lantern Corps movie in the artwork below.
