‘Godzilla’: Millie Bobby Brown Is Excited For ‘King Of Monsters’

Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown was recently announced to be joining the cast of Godzilla: King of Monsters.

Brown spoke about her upcoming Godzilla sequel earlier tonight on the red carpet of the Screen Actors Guild Awards. This will be the young actress’ first major film and she is very excited about it.

“I just had a really incredible connection with the director. I had a great meeting with him and you know, I just really love him. It’s my first movie. I’m really excited and that’s really all I can say, but it’s going to be great!”

Since first appearing in the Netflix series, Brown has seemingly shot into instant fame and has been nominated and received a couple of major awards. She’ll be returning with the rest of the cast for a second season of Stranger Things.

Godzilla: King of Monsters is the sequel to 2014’s Godzilla, which was directed by Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards and starred Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen. The film’s sequel will be directed by Michael Dougherty (Krampus).

Godzilla: King of Monsters does not have a synopsis or production start date yet, but it’s set to be released on March 22, 2019 and it will be the third film in Legendary Pictures’ monsters universe.
