New ‘Mission: Impossible 6’ Set Photo Shows Off Henry Cavill & ‘Stache

Mission: Impossible 6 director Christopher McQuarrie has shared a new set photo featuring the Man of Steel himself, Henry Cavill, while sporting his epic mustache.

Cavill’s role itself remains a mystery as plot and character details are still under wraps, however, it is known that Cavill will be a right hand to the Impossible Mission Force team led by Tom Cruise in the film. McQuarrie also previously revealed that his Cavill’s character will be featured in action sequences with practical stunts that involve extreme heights, high speeds with motor vehicles of all kinds including aircraft’s as well as firearms, and explosions.

The new image shared by the director reveals Cavill geared up and ready for action inside of a helictoper. You can check it out below.

Cavill stars alongside Cruise as well as Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin, Sean Harris, Simon Pegg, Angela Bassett, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby (The Crown), Frederick Schmidt (Supergirl), and Sian Brooke (Sherlock).

McQuarrie returns to helm the sixth installment and is also producing the film along with Cruise, Don Granger and J.J. Abrams as well as David Ellison and Dana Goldberg of Skydance Productions. Production kicked off on location in Paris in April but has since moved on to New Zealand. Principal photography is also expected to take place in London and India before the shoot wraps up next month. The film is being shot with IMAX 3D cameras.

Mission: Impossible 6 is currently slated to hit theaters on July 27, 2018.
