With Christopher McQuarrie in the director’s chair for the sixth installment, there is still very little known about the movie’s plot details. The only thing that has really been confirmed is the cast, which boasts some wonderful talent. Most recently, McQuarrie posted a picture of the female cast and of Cruise and Ving Rhames to his Twitter account.
Mission: Impossible 6 began filming back in April, but won’t be in theaters until next year. But now that production has seemingly wrapped (in New Zealand anyway), news will slowly begin to trickle out regarding plot, film footage, and the like. The film is still set to go into production in London as well before filming finally wraps.
Written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the film stars Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin, Angela Bassett, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, Sean Harris, Henry Cavill, Michelle Monaghan, and Simon Pegg.
