On Tuesday Disney announced that an interactive version of Moana, featuring onscreen lyrics, Would hit theaters by the end of January.
This will be followed by a projection of this version on theaters around the nation.
Even though Moana was a great hit, its success comes a little short in comparison to previous Disney’s darlings such as Frozen or Zootopia. Hopefully the idea of a sing along version of the film will get people’s attention and get this movie the recognition it deserves.
Moana tells the story of an adventurous teenager sails out on a daring mission to save her people aided by demigod Maui, voiced by Dwayne Johnson, who guides her in her quest to become a master way-finder.
Moana is directed by Ron Clements, Don Hall and it features the voice cast of Auli’i Cravalho as Moana and Dwayne Johnson as Maui set be released digitally February 21 and on DVD March 7.
