Jeffrey Dean Morgan And Joe Manganiello Share ‘Rampage’ Set Photos

Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Joe Manganiello amp up excitement for the Rampage movie adaptation from Warner Brothers, starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

What a time to be alive – not only is Hollywood getting A-list talent for monster movies, but monster movies that are also video game adaptations! Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Joe Manganiello are amping up excitement for the newly in-production Rampage movie, where they’ll play characters alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s hero.

Morgan showed off a set photo with what looks to be a fairly mundane scene in a bureaucratic workplace where exposition ought to be provided, but the actor promised the audience that they’ll be in for a lot of fun nonetheless.

Meanwhile, Manganiello teased more of the action side of things with his character, a private military contractor named Burke.

Fans of the series will quickly notice that the three emoji that Manganiello posted represent the classic three monsters of the series – George, Lizzie, and Ralph, respectively. It will likely be a while before we see what the monsters will look like in the movie, but for now, it’s good to know that they’ll be in there instead of some of the Rampage franchise’s later (and less well-known) monsters.

Rampage will crush the box office on April 20, 2018. The film reunites Dwayne Johnson with director Brad Peyton (San Andreas), and also features a supporting cast that includes Naomie Harris, Malin Åkerman, Joe Manganiello, Jake Lacy, Marley Shelton, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, P. J. Byrne, Jack Quaid, Matt Gerald, and Breanne Hill.
