After months of teasing, Sony finally released the first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home for the public to watch. The action-packed trailer teased quite a bit of exciting set pieces and characters in the film, including the main antagonist Mysterio. The iconic Marvel foe appeared in quite a few moments in the trailer and showed off his fantastic skills to battle giant enemies.
One very talented artist has taken to Instagram to create a Spider-Man: Far From Home poster with Mysterio taking center stage, just as the character himself seems to be trying to do in the trailer. Check out the awesome fan art in the post below.
Spider-Man: Far From Home marks the first live-action appearance of Mysterio, as well as his first time on the big screen at all. Actor Jake Gyllenhaal was once in the running to play Peter Parker in the Sam Raimi-directed films but that never came to fruition. Almost twenty years later, Gyllenhaal will finally be appearing in a Spider-Man film, though obviously not as the titular web-slinging hero.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Spidey’s latest big screen adventure as soon as more information becomes available. What are your thoughts on Jake Gyllenhaal playing Mysterio? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
