NXIVM has been a major topic over the last year due to the controversial claims that the group turned members into branded sex slaves. The story, which involves Smallville star Allison Mack at the center it all, has only gotten stranger as one of the NXIVM co-founders has just pleaded guilty to hacking into the emails and stealing the identities of certain people who criticized the group, which apparently took place between 2003 and 2008.
The report comes from The Hollywood Reporter, which also revealed some words of remorse from Nancy Salzman. Check out what she had to say about the controversy below.
“It has taken some time and soul searching to come to this place. I accept that some of what I did was not just wrong, but criminal. If I could go back and do it all over again, I would. But I can’t.”
Nancy Salzman’s sentencing was scheduled for July 10. Keith Raniere, the group’s leader, is heading to trial in just six weeks. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding the NXIVM case as soon as more information becomes available. What’s your opinion on Nancy Salzman’s quote?
