Jane Foster gets mighty.
It’ll be a long time before we finally see Natalie Portman wield Mjolnir in the highly-anticipated Thor: Love and Thunder, but that’s not stopping fans from imagining what she could look like in the movie. A fan edit gives the actress the Mighty Thor look from recent comics. It’s not yet clear if the sequel will adapt Jane Foster’s origin exactly as it happens in the comics, but fans are still excited to see Portman get more to do than just be a simple love-interest. Although according to director Taika Waititi, there’ll still be plenty of romance in the Chris Hemsworth sequel.
The Mighty Thor artwork comes from a digital artist who goes by “jackson_caspersz” on Instagram. The concept gives Natalie Portman the iconic helmet, while also giving fans a detailed look at her outfit. The design also teases her abilities as the new version of the Norse God as lightning strikes across the sky in the background. Hopefully, we’ll get an official look at the star in costume when work properly begins on the Chris Hemsworth sequel. You can check out the fan edit below.
