Actor Nathan Fillion reveals that he had a cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but his scene was cut. He released a photo of himself on the set.
Actor Nathan Fillion has just revealed that his cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 has been cut from the film. However, he got the green-light to share the cameo via social media.
Interestingly, Fillion already had a cameo of sorts in the Guardians sequel as Simon Williams, who in the comics is the alter-ego of Wonder Man – but only on some movie posters, it seems. It’s entirely likely that this cameo would have been for a completely different character, however.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 blasts off on May 5, 2017. The film stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Kurt Russell as Ego, and Sylvester Stallone in a spoiler-filled supporting role.
