The character of Aquaman has been heavily criticized ever since this comedic role in the 80's Superfriends TV Cartoon, but Zack Snyder aims to change that.
Over the last couple months DC has been unveiling their new figureline for the movie, and their last figure of Aquaman was abysmal. But now we have some new pictures of the upcoming figure from their more “premium” line of toys called the “DC Multiverse.” You can check them out over at Toy News International.
With Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice finally hitting theaters next month, odds are fans will be seeing a whole lot more of Aquaman in the weeks to come, but for now, this figure gives fans a much better look at the character compared to the last one that came out.
Here’s the official synopsis for Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice:
“Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.”
