New ‘Aquaman’ Pre-Vis Images Are Absolutely Stunning

A new set of DC’s Aquaman previs and postvis images were recently released and they show how absolutely stunning the film really is.

Halon Entertainment, a team of artists that worked alongside Director James Wan for the film, published these tweets earlier today showing shots of the final battle under the sea. You can actually see for yourself the smallest details of the hard work DC and Warner Bros. put in making Aquaman a beautiful scenario on which its story could unfold. In them, you can see Aquaman, Mera, Nereus, the Karanthean, and many other sea creatures in action:

If you’ve seen the movie, you’ll know these pictures make no justice of what the final cut of the film really looks like in action and how gorgeous it is. If you haven’t seen the movie, then this is a small teaser of the final set piece which involves several DC characters and sea creatures all battling it out for the seven seas. Aquaman is proof that DC and Warner Bros. finally came up with a great formula that worked also for Wonder Woman: great storytelling, relatable characters, and awesome visual quality.

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an acition-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.

Directed by James Wan, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm / Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Ludi Lin as Captain Murk, and Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry.

Aquaman is in theaters now.
