Dany is back in a subservient role this season, quite a step down from Mother of Dragons and Queen of Meereen. Apparently, the Dothraki had hard-and-fast traditions about what Khaleesis like her should do when their khal dies, as Drogo (Jason Momoa) did way back in Season 1. And no way are they letting Dany get away from that tradition.
