New ‘Godzilla: King Of The Monsters’ Poster Arrives

A brand new Japanese poster for Godzilla: King of the Monsters has been released showcasing exactly why the kaiju is considered the king.

Godzilla is back and better than ever since his reboot to modern day audiences. The Legendary MonsterVerse movies have been expanding since his return to the big screen in 2014. Kong: Skull Island further expanded the universe teasing all the other legendary kaiju in its post-credits scene. In anticipation for the movie, a new Japanese poster was released showcasing every little detail of the great creature Godzilla. The text on the poster translates to “The King Awakens.”

There’s no denying how amazing this poster is. It perfectly showcases the might of Godzilla as the king with the person below him to further emphasize how gargantuan this creature is. Other monsters confirmed for the movie are Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah. Are you excited to see the continuation of Legendary’s MonsterVerse?

Directed by Michael Dougherty from a script by Dougherty, Max Borenstein and Zach Shields, Godzilla: King of the Monsters stars Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Sally Hawkins, Charles Dance, Thomas Middleditch, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ken Watanabe, Zhang Ziyi, Anthony Ramos, Jonathan Howard, Aisha Hinds, Elizabeth Ludlow and Randy Havens.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters roars into theaters on May 31, 2019.
