‘The Mummy’: New Image Of Tom Cruise Hits The Web

Yahoo Movies has revealed a brand new image of Tom Cruise as Nick Morton in Universal’s upcoming reboot of The Mummy directed by Alex Kurtzman.

The new reboot set to kickstart and lay the groundwork for a shared cinematic universe full of monsters has not only swapped the charming era of the 1930’s for a darker, modern day setting, the new film has also opted for a female Mummy with Kingsman: The Secret Service and Star Trek Beyond star Sofia Boutella as Princess Ahmanet, an Egyptian Princess who was imprisoned when she summoned a great evil and murdered her father after he failed to uphold his promise to make her pharaoh after he sired a son.

The film stars Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Jake Johnson, Annabelle Wallis, Courtney B. Vance and Russel Crowe. Here is the official synopsis:
