‘The LEGO Batman Movie’: New TV Spot Shows Batman Is Not A Hugger

'The LEGO Batman Movie' has revealed a new TV spot centered on Bruce Wayne's relationship with his iconic sidekick, The Boy Wonder himself, Robin.

Adding to the previously released handful of hilarious The LEGO Batman Movie trailers and TV spots we’ve been gifted over the last few months, we now have another. This time around the TV spot decides to take aim at The Dark Knight’s relationship with his iconic sidekick, The Boy Wonder himself, Robin (voiced by Michael Cera).

Starring Will Arnett, reprising his role from 2014’s The LEGO Movie, The LEGO Batman Movie is the first full-length feature film to spin-off using a character taken directly from the original LEGO Movie. The movie seems set to continue the unique brand of humor which won audiences over on this iteration of The Caped Crusader back in The LEGO Movie, however this time it takes place in Gotham with a few more familiar faces for the DC comics fans among the audience.

You can view the new TV spot below:

“In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.”

The Lego Batman, featuring Will Arnett as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zach Galifianakis as The Joker, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth, Rosario Dawson as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, Mariah Carey as Mayor Grange, Billy Dee Williams as Harvey Dent/Two-Face and Michael Cera as Dick Grayson/Robin, opens in theaters on February 10, 2017.
