New ‘Rogue One’ TV Spot Shows Off The Rebellion

We’ve got a brand new look at Rogue One before it’s release next month, watch the TV spot below.

The Rogue One clip comes from the Star Wars YouTube channel and it’s mainly made up of a few clips we’ve already seen. But it certainly builds up the anticipation of the film. With some rather straight to the point dialogue, this TV spot quickly does the job – and rather impressively so. We do hear some new dialogue from Felicity Jones’ character, Jyn, that succinctly adds a new perspective on taking down the Death Star.

“If the empire has this kind of weapon, what chance do we have?” “The question is what choice.”

The film makers are definitely trying to bring a sense of fear and paranoia to the latest instalment in the franchise. Raising the stakes as high as any other part of the story. Will you be watching when it comes out next month?

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

The film stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker.

‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story‘ opens in U.S. theaters on December 16, 2016.
