New ‘Titans’ Season 2 Cast Listing Reveals Deathstroke’s Son

According to a Rochester/Finger Lakes commission cast listing in Facebook, the son of DC villain Deathstroke will be a part of Titans season 2.

After the first season of Titans ended we were, quite frankly, left worried about the young heroes. Trigon made its appearance in the last episode which featured a fever dream from Dick Greyson as he took Batman down once and for all. All these events left us guessing if the Titans could ever beat Trigon and save Earth from destruction. It seems that the team will need all the help they can get, aside from what Hawk and Dove can do for them and this new listing may give us a hint as to where this help might be coming from.

A cast listing recently found on Facebook may give us the clue as to who is coming in the second season of Titans. It’s none other than Deathstroke/Slade Wilson’s son, Jericho. The listing looks for a male of 21 to 24 years old, Asian or Latino, that has a hearing disability:

LOOKING FOR DEAF ACTORS! “I’m the Casting Associate on season 2 of the DC superhero series TITANS, and we recently released the below breakdown. Because of the context of the role, we would really like to look for actors who are deaf or hard of hearing, and are fluent in ASL. If you know of any current or former students who might fit the below description, please send them my way, or have them send their contact/rep info to my email. Thanks!
ROLE: Male, 21-24, Mixed Latino or Mixed Asian. As a young boy, Max was a kind-hearted soul who never measured up to the expectations of his domineering military father. Bullied by his peers, he retreated even further inward. He’s a misfit who’s always longed for acceptance and love, but never found it, always suffering betrayal by those he dared to believe in most. As a result, he’s grown into a young man who now longs to inflict pain on all those who have caused him pain… 7/13 SERIES REGULAR… PLEASE ALSO SUBMIT ACTORS WHO ARE DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING, AND NOTE ANY ACTORS WHO ARE FLUENT IN ASL.

For those who don’t know who he is, Jericho, born as Joseph William Wilson, is the son of Slade Wilson and Adeline Kane Wilson in the comics. Jericho is most famous for his participation in the Judas Contract storyline where Deathstroke is hired to kill the Teen Titans. Jericho eventually teams up with Robin and saves the other members of the team. He would also join the team and develop a relationship with Raven soon after that.

What do you think of Jericho’s inclusion in Titans? Comment below!

Here’s the synopsis for Titans:

The series stars Brenton Thwaites as Richard “Dick” Grayson / Robin, Anna Diop as Koriand’r / Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth / Raven, and Ryan Potter as Garfield “Gar” Logan / Beast Boy.
