After the first five episodes of the fourth season aired in November 2019, a new trailer confirms when the hit animated series returns. So far the fourth season has embraced a number of different genres as the duo travel through the multiverse on their adventures, but the next five episodes of the show look to get even more bizarre while following up on some long-standing plot points from the series.
The new trailer for the fourth season confirms the show returns to Adult Swim on May 3, while giving fans a brief look at what to expect in the next batch of episodes. The footage shows off the return of Morty’s dog Snuffles/Snowball wearing his robotic exo-skeleton while fighting a cat in a similar suit. There’s also a shot of Morty running from several Ricks in uniform, which could mean we’ll see the Citadel of Ricks again. The footage also pays homage to notable other franchises like Transformers and Star Wars Check out the new trailer below.
