New Zealand Newspaper Mistakes Spike Lee For Stan Lee In Headline

After the death of Stan Lee yesterday, a newspaper in New Zealand confused the Marvel Legend for BlacKkKlansman Spike Lee.

After Lee passed away in Los Angeles, CA at the age of 95 yesterday, The Gisborne Herald newspaper made a mistake in their covering regarding the death of Lee, publishing “Spike Lee Dies At 95” on the top of its front page Tuesday morning. Many fans had a lot to say about it while Spike himself was a good sport.

Lee was one of the most influential figures of the modern era, shaping the imagination of those all around the world. He was a true visionary and a creative genius. He is survived by his daughter J.C. Lee. who confirmed his passing yesterday.

Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp are now available as a digital download as well as on Blu-ray and DVD. Upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movies include Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019, Avengers 4 on May 3, 2019, and Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5, 2019.
