Nick Fury Uses His Classic Weapon In ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’

In the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer, Nick Fury is seen using his signature weapon he’s been using in the comics for decades now.

Nick Fury makes another appearance in a Marvel movie and this time he’s using his classic weapon. Despite being in so many movies at this point, we have yet to see his needle gun that the character is known for in the comics. In the trailer, he makes his introduction to Spider-Man by shooting his friend, Ned Leeds, in the neck with a sleeper needle. Perhaps this is a sign that Nick Fury’s character is going to be more prominent in Phase 4 than he has been. Despite being such a pivotal character in the movies, his character remains a mystery ultimately.

Aside from being in Far From Home, Fury is also expected to show up in Captain Marvel where it’s been confirmed we will also see his origins in the film. Perhaps the Marvel Cinematic University is ready to show more of Nick Fury in Phase 4.

Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers, Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, Numan Acar, J.B. Smoove, Oli Hill, Remy Hii, Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, Cobie Smulders, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

Spider-Man: Far From Home will be released in theaters on July 5, 2019.
