Although Brenton Thwaites seems to be on the path to becoming Nightwing in the second season of DC Universe’s Titans, The Batman could still feature the former Batman sidekick. Nightwing has yet to make his debut on the silver screen. With Ben Barnes now freed up from Netflix and Marvel’s The Punisher, there’s hope the actor could take on the role in Matt Reeves’ standalone film The Batman or even his own standalone film in the DCEU. You can check out what Ben Barnes might look like as Nightwing below!
Besides The Punisher, Ben Barnes is also starring in the BBC miniseries Gold Digger this year. Before, fans envisioned Ben Barnes as Batman which the actor seemed to enjoy, but ultimately Robert Pattinson was cast to don the cape and cowl. With a role like Nightwing, Ben Barnes could possibly star opposite Robert Pattinson in some form or another.
