NYCC: Warner Bros. TV Announces ‘Watchmen’ Pilot Screening And Q&A

Warner Bros TV has announced that it will have a pilot screening panel followed by a Q&A for HBO’s Watchmen series at this years NYCC.

The Warner Bros TV panel for HBO’s Watchmen will take place at NYCC on Friday, October 4th. The panel itself will last from 3:45 PM until 5:45 PM which will allow audiences to see the first episode of the show before its official HBO debut later this month. In addition, Warner Bros TV will also be hosting panels for Castle Rock, RiverdaleManifest, Roswell, New Mexico, Harley Quinn, and Batwoman at NYCC. NYCC itself will take place from Thursday, Oct 3, 2019, through Sunday, Oct 6, 2019.

Set in an alternate history where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws, WATCHMEN embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel while attempting to break new ground of its own.

Watchmen stars Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Jean Smart, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Hong Chau, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, and James Wolk. The series is produced for HBO by White Rabbit in association with Warner Bros. Television, based on Alan Moore’s graphic novel co-created and illustrated by Dave Gibbons and published by DC.
