Oliver Jackson-Cohen would like a shot at Marc Spector.
Disney Plus has really made fans desperate to see shows like WandaVision as well as The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, but many are still fascinated to see how the other heroes will head to the streaming service, including Moon Knight. Given the very nature of Marc Spector and the multiple identities he has, bringing him to live-action and doing him justice is a big challenge. Luckily, one of the writers of the series previously mentioned that fans will love the vision of the character from Kevin Feige and showrunner Jeremy Slater. Most recently, Oliver Jackson-Cohen explained that he’d love to get his hands on the role.
Oliver Jackson-Cohen spoke to ComicBook.com ahead of Haunting of Bly Manor‘s debut on Netflix, and when asked about Moon Knight, the actor revealed he’s definitely interested in playing the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He explained that he’s only become familiar with Moon Knight recently but was also quick to mention that no one has been touch with him from Marvel about the role. The actor’s words come soon after Iman Vellani was cast as Ms. Marvel and Tatiana Maslany was cast as She-Hulk. Take a look at Oliver Jackson-Cohen discussing Marvel’s Moon Knight below.
“Listen, Twitter is quite the encyclopedia and I have been very fortunate that people have educated me well on Moon Knight and Marvel and the world of it. The honest response is that I have no idea, no one has called me about this, but, again, I stand by what I said, that Moon Knight sounds like a fascinating, fascinating character, and I’d love to get my hands on that, but you just never know, do you?”
